According to the Agricultural Economic Bulletin, released this Thursday (30) by analysts from the Department of Rural Economy (Deral) of the State Secretariat of Agriculture and Supply (Seab), Parana companies imported 8.66 thousand tons of dairy products in 2024, of which 1.83 thousand tons were powdered milk. According to the survey, the total volume of imported dairy products was 4.6% higher than that recorded in 2020, while purchases of powdered milk increased by 11.2% over the same period. Compared to 2023, however, Deral reported significant drops, of 31.2% in dairy imports and 71.9% in powdered milk imports. For 2025, the expectation is stability in imports, with volumes close to those observed in the previous year. Between January and September, the state's dairies imported approximately 7 thousand tons of dairy products, of which 1.15 thousand tons were powdered milk, according to the bulletin.
