During the past year, COAC sold 2,998 kg of star fruit, 133,117 kg of avocado, 2,084 kg of prickly pear, 5,531 kg of pitaya, 39,014 kg of lychee and 50,340 kg of guava. Portugal, Switzerland, England, Spain and Middle Eastern countries were the main buyers. The expectation of the Cooperative's board is that exports help sustain the price of guava in the domestic market, avoiding drastic drops when there is overproduction.

Exports are expected to increase from 2023 onwards, as last year's frost reduced production for this crop.
