A national leader in organic production, with over 4,500 certified farmers, Paraná is set to conduct a census to gather the characteristics of organic producers across the entire state. The initial step was taken this week when the board of the Rural Development Institute of Paraná (IDR-Paraná) received the State Secretary of Science, Technology, and Higher Education, Aldo Bona, to present the preliminary results of the Organic Agriculture Census in the Northern Pioneer region of Paraná. The survey was conducted with resources from the Borderless University Program, from Seti, and also from the Fundo Paraná.
