The ports of Paranaguá and Antonina in Paraná, Brazil, saw a 13% increase in activity in July compared to the same month in 2020, handling a total of 5.783 million tonnes of products. This includes sugar, vegetable oils, general cargo, containers, and cellulose. Exports increased by 7% to 3,553,905 tons, while imports surged by 24.7% to 2,229,443 tons. The Port of Antonina also experienced a significant increase in the handling of non-transgenic soy meal and large volumes of fertilizers, salt, and wheat compared to July 2020.
