The participation of the Spanish sector in international trade fairs such as IPM in Essen, which took place in Germany from January 27 to 30, contributes significantly to the growth of exports, according to the assessment of Spanish companies dedicated to the production and commercialization of ornamental plants that have exhibited at this fair under the group participation organized by FEPEX. According to the latest data up to November, Spanish exports of flowers and live plants grew by 7%, reaching 701 million euros. Out of the 701 million euros that Spanish exports of flowers and live plants amounted to in the first eleven months of 2025, a total of 550 million euros corresponded to live plants, with a growth of 4% compared to the same period of the previous year, remaining as the most exported category within the sector.
