Pasture improvement projects in Edirne to support animal husbandry

Work continues uninterrupted within the scope of the Pasture Improvement and Aménagement Project, which aims to develop animal husbandry, increase the efficiency of pasture areas, and meet the roughage needs of producers in the districts of Keşan and Havsa in Edirne. In Karahisar village, affiliated with Keşan district, pasture improvement work is being carried out on a total of 25 acres of pasture land related to the project. In the area where oat was planted as a cover crop to increase pasture yield last year, a 7-mixture pasture grass seed was planted this year. The planting activities were conducted using the drone-assisted planting method, which is one of the modern agricultural techniques.
