In the Giro do Boi Responde segment, zootechnician Edmar Peluso states that both MG5 and MG12 are viable options, but the decision should be based on the management and the level of fertilization to be applied. The specialist explains that species such as MG5, MG12, Mombaça, Massai, Marandu, and Piatã are all drought-resistant. MG5, for example, is extremely productive and offers flexibility for the producer who may not be able to fertilize every year.
