European peach and nectarine production is projected to increase by +14% compared to 2022, with a total of 2,687,591 tonnes expected across Europe, including 869,000 tonnes for Italy, 1,256,524 tonnes for Spain, and 334,340 tonnes for Greece. However, the forecast does not yet account for the flood damage in Emilia-Romagna, with an updated forecast to be released in June. Italy's production is expected to see an 8% decrease from 2022, with the southern regions contributing the majority of the production.
