By the end of August 2023, Vietnam exported 61,852 tons of cinnamon, total export turnover reached 183.4 million USD, an increase of 24.9% in volume and 2% in value compared to the same period last year. However, Vietnam also imported 12,711 tons of cinnamon, with a turnover of 33.1 million USD, an increase of 18% compared to 2022.
According to the Vietnam Pepper and Spice Association (VPSA), in August, Vietnam exported 10,175 tons of cinnamon, total export turnover reached 29.6 million USD, compared to July, the export volume increased by 19. 8%, turnover increased 20.3%. Exports to India accounted for the largest proportion, accounting for 55.9%, reaching 5,690 tons and increasing 35.2% over the previous month. Prosi Thang Long and Green Forest T&K continue to be the two main export enterprises reaching 1,270 tons and 922 tons...
