A district in Vietnam has opened a subsidized point of sale to allow people to buy food at affordable prices, with the aim of supporting those who are struggling due to reduced income or loss of income. The prices of food products sold at this point are lower than those in markets and supermarkets, as the goods are bought directly from the source and sold without going through middlemen. The district has invited more businesses to join the initiative, which has already seen nine units involved in sales. The prices for various food items and vegetables are kept low, making it easier for people to purchase essential goods. The program is expected to run until the end of the year.
