Yunnan Province in China is promoting the development of its '100 Billion Cloud Vegetables' industry, focusing on high-quality and efficient production. The province has adopted various measures such as policy support, capital investment, and base construction, and has seen an increase in the production area and output of vegetables. Yunnan has a balanced production throughout the year due to its geographical and climatic conditions, which allow for a wide variety of vegetable varieties. The province is also shifting towards organic and green production, with a 'green food brand' being laid and a significant number of products achieving 'two products and one standard' certification. Additionally, a trend towards small packaging for vegetables, particularly for e-commerce, is on the rise. In 2020, the export volume of Yunnan's vegetable industry reached 1.4055 million tons and the export value was US$1.532 billion, with products sold to over 150 large and medium-sized cities and over 40 countries and regions.
