In March 2023, Vietnam saw a 27.6% increase in pepper exports volume and a 26.5% increase in value compared to the previous month, but a decrease in price by 0.9%. Compared to March 2022, there was a 50.6% increase in volume but a decrease in turnover and price. In the first quarter, exports reached 76,193 tons with a turnover of 233.45 million USD. The Vietnam Pepper Association reported a decrease in exports to the US, U.A.E, India, Germany, the Netherlands, and the UK, but an increase to Singapore, Turkey, and Egypt.
