According to preliminary statistics of the Vietnam Pepper Association (VPA), in February 2023, Vietnam exported 28,161 tons of pepper, including 25,959 tons of black pepper and 2,202 tons of white pepper. Most of the major export markets recorded growth in the first 2 months of the year. In which, China rose to become the main export market of Vietnamese pepper in the first two months of 2023, reaching 10,209 tons, accounting for 25% and increasing by 760% over the same period last year.
