In May 2025, Peruvian fresh mandarin exports reached 25,687 tons, generating revenues of $32.1 million. The increase in Peruvian mandarin shipments was largely due to increased demand from its main markets, especially the United States, Japan, and Canada, destinations that notably increased their purchases compared to the same period of the previous year. Likewise, in this period, the citrus fruit reached 18 destinations (three fewer than in 2024), which was not an impediment to surpassing the same month of the previous year.
