He said that last year, Peru's cocoa and derivatives exports amounted to nearly US$ 1,250 million. Furthermore, between January and July of this year, shipments totaled US$ 865,287,000, reflecting an increase of 41% compared to the US$ 615,227,000 reported in the same period of 2024. Of this total, 81.4% corresponds to conventional cocoa and 18.6% to organic cocoa.
