(Agraria.pe) The head of the Ministry of Agrarian Development and Irrigation (Midagri), Ángel Manero Campos, held a meeting with the delegation from the United States, led by Jason Hafemeister, Acting Associate Administrator of the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). Along with his technical team, the head of Midagri highlighted Peru's approach to managing access for more products to the U.S. market, prioritizing products such as non-fumigated asparagus, aguaymanto, pitahaya, turmeric, passion fruit, and new varieties of avocado, among others. For their part, the United States expressed interest in exporting various products to our country, including tomato and pepper seeds. Both countries have been working to achieve bilateral access to products.
