Peru will export between 330,000 and 350,000 tons of fresh blueberries in the 2023/2024 campaign

( From the beginning of the 2022/2023 campaign in June until March 12, Peru exported 283,000 tons of fresh blueberries, which represents an increase of 30% compared to what was shipped in the same period of the previous campaign ( 2021/2022).
This was reported by the president of the consulting firm Inform@cción, Fernando Cillóniz, who indicated that this 30% growth in volume is similar to what has been recorded in recent campaigns. The current campaign closes at the end of this month. Cillóniz highlighted the rapid growth and positioning of the Peruvian blueberry, which has allowed our country to become the main world supplier of this fruit. In addition, blueberries have become Peru's main agro-export crop, surpassing grapes in value.
