In 2023, Peru's agricultural sector saw record exports of US$10.545 billion, with an increase of 2.9% from the previous year, despite global challenges. This growth is projected to continue, with exports expected to exceed US$11.5 billion by 2024. Over the past 23 years, agricultural exports have consistently grown at an average annual rate of 11.9%. The success of Peru's agro-export industry is due to a diverse product portfolio, with 20 key products contributing to 74.6% of the total export value. Grapes, blueberries, and avocados were the top performers, each generating over US$900 million in annual export revenue.
