Peruvian seafood exports have seen a growth due to increasing demand for products like fishmeal, fish oil, canned products, and various species such as parrotfish, mackerel, anchovies, and tuna. The main markets for these exports include China, the US, Spain, Chile, Japan, and South Korea, accounting for 73.4% of the total exports valued at US$2.34 billion. This growth reinforces Peru's position as a leading exporter of aquatic products, maintaining a focus on sustainability and quality to meet global market demands.
