The general manager of Proarándanos, Luis Miguel Vegas, indicated that up until week 45, more than 250,000 tons of the berry have been exported, a 25% increase compared to the same period in the previous campaign. The first official projection for the season was 400,000 tons, but the estimate has been adjusted to 360,000 tons, a reduction of between 7% and 8%.
