Between January and April of this year, Peru experienced a slight decrease in the volume but an increase in the value of its prepared hearts of palm exports, with a total of 1,402,482 kilos exported generating US$ 3,906,140. The primary destination for these exports was France, receiving 44% of the total shipments, followed by the United States. The main heart of palm exporting companies in this period were Caynarachi SA, APROPAL LTDA, and Agro Industrial San Pedro SAC, accounting for 78%, 14%, and 7% of the national exports, respectively.
