From January to November 2022, Peruvian exports to the U.S. saw a significant increase of 23.4 percent compared to the same period in 2021 and 39.3 percent compared to 2020, totaling $7.73 billion. The non-traditional sector played a major role in this growth, with blueberries being the leading product at $666 million. Other notable exports included fresh grapes, natural calcium phosphates, fresh avocados, and fresh asparagus. Traditional products exports also saw growth, totaling $2.719 billion, while non-traditional exports reached $5.011 billion, accounting for 64.8 percent of the total exports.
