(Agraria.pe) Between January and August 2025, total Peruvian agro-exports (traditional + non-traditional) reached sales of over US$ 8,134 million, reporting an increase of +19.6% compared to the same period last year, reported the Ministry of Agrarian Development and Irrigation (Midagri). It detailed that, in the first eight months of this year, agricultural shipments (traditional) totaled US$ 795 million, showing a growth of +27%; while agro-livestock and/or agro-industrial shipments (non-traditional) amounted to US$ 7,338 million, reflecting an increase of +18.9%. The increase in traditional agricultural exports was driven by higher exports of unroasted, un-decaffeinated coffee US$ 742 million (+34.4%) and cane molasses US$ 5.7 million (+25.9%). These products account for 94.0% of traditional agro-exports.
