Peruvian ginger exports exceed US$ 56 million as of August

(Agraria.pe) Between January and August of the current year, Peru exported 30,691,897 kilos of ginger (kion) for a FOB value of US$ 56,209,371, according to a report by the consultancy Agrodata. According to this source, the main destination for this product was the United States, where shipments reached US$ 34,099,965 (61% of the total shipments).
