Between January and May 2024, Peruvian legume exports saw a slight decrease of -1%, totaling US$30,285,000, compared to the same period in the previous year. The United States was the leading market, but its imports fell by -23%, contributing US$ 9,154,000 or 30% of the total. Other significant markets included South Korea, Colombia, the United Kingdom, and Spain. Pallar was the top legume export, with a 21% share, followed by loctao, castile beans, broad beans, and peas. However, the exports of pallar saw a significant decrease of -39%.
