According to Mozambique's Economic and Social Plan and State Budget proposal, the country is projected to reach a fishing production of 508.8 thousand tons in 2024, representing a 1% growth compared to the current year. However, the document also reveals a 25% decrease in exports for 2024 compared to the forecasted exports for 2023. Despite this, the government plans to raise around $56 million in revenue by increasing the export of aquaculture products, lobster, and live crab.
