(Agraria.pe) Through Directorial Resolution Nº D000047-2025-MIDAGRI-SENASA-DSV, the mandatory phytosanitary requirements for the importation of sorghum seeds (Sorghum bicolor) from the Federative Republic of Brazil have been established. The shipment must have the Import Phytosanitary Permit issued by the National Agrarian Health Service (SENASA), obtained by the importer or interested party, prior to certification and shipment in the country of origin or provenance. The shipment must be accompanied by an official Phytosanitary Certificate issued by the National Phytosanitary Protection Organization (ONPF) of the country of origin and provenance, in which it is stated: Additional declaration: The seeds come from a production site inspected by the ONPF of the country of origin during the active growth period of the crop, and through laboratory analysis, found to be free of: Burkholderia andropogonis, Pseudomonas fuscovaginae, Pseudomonas syringae pv. syringae, and Peronosclerospora ...
