(Agraria.pe) By Directorial Resolution No. D000027-2025-MIDAGRI-SENASA-DSV, the National Service of Agrarian Health of Peru (SENASA) established the mandatory phytosanitary requirements for the importation of uncombed and uncarded cotton fiber (Gossypium spp.) from and originating in the United Mexican States. It is indicated that the cotton fiber to be imported must originate and come from areas under official control for Anthonomus grandis in the following producing states in the United Mexican States: Coahuila (except the municipality of Sierra Mojada), Tamaulipas, Durango, Sonora (except the municipalities of Altar, Caborca, General Plutarco Elías Calles, Pitiquito, and San Luis Río Colorado), and Sinaloa. The name of the producing state will be recorded in the phytosanitary certificate issued by the National Organization of Phytosanitary Protection (ONPF) of the United Mexican States.
