(Taean=Yonhap News) In Taean, South Chungcheong Province, the shipment of winter delicacies, daldae (Korean mustard greens) and naengi (Chinese cabbage), is in full swing. According to Taean County on the 11th, Taean-grown daldae and naengi, which have grown in the sea breeze and have outstanding taste and flavor, are being shipped after undergoing a meticulous processing process, including washing and packaging, at the agricultural produce regional distribution center. Starting production in December last year, they plan to deliver Taean's spring message to consumers nationwide until next month. Currently, they are being delivered to the agricultural cooperative logistics center and Lotte Mart, and due to their excellent product quality, they are playing a significant role in elevating the status of Taean agricultural products by also attracting the delivery of other items. Taean County is forecasting that this year's shipment will exceed 2 billion won. A county official said, "Daldae and naengi are creating new income during the farming season and injecting great vitality into the local economy" and "through securing the trust of major distribution companies, it is expected to contribute to expanding sales channels and increasing the brand value of Taean agricultural products as a whole."
