Piracanjuba Acquires Natulact in Sergipe and Now Has Factory in the Northeast

Piracanjuba Group announced, in a statement, the acquisition of Natulact, a cheese and dairy products industry located in Nossa Senhora da Glória, Sergipe. The transaction marks the company's entry into the Northeast, with its first manufacturing unit outside the Central-West, Southeast, and South regions, where it already operates seven industries. "This will be the first Piracanjuba Group factory in the Northeast, reinforcing the company's expansion in the region, as we will become more competitive," said the company's president, Luiz Claudio Lorenzo, in the statement. Founded over 30 years ago, Natulact is situated in one of the main dairy basins of the Northeast, about 115 kilometers from the capital, Aracaju. The brand's portfolio includes mozzarella, curd, plate, and fresh minas cheeses, as well as butter, cream cheese, and powdered milk whey.
