Peru: Piura would allocate S/25 million to strengthen the mango production chain

The Regional Directorate of Agriculture of Piura reported that it is completing the details of the profile of the project “Improvement of support services for the productive development of the mango chain in 11 districts of the provinces of Piura, Morropón, Huancabamba and Sullana”, which It will have an estimated investment of S/25 million. This new project will seek to provide comprehensive support to farmers organized in associations and/or cooperatives to promote and strengthen the Piuran mango production chain. In a recent meeting held at the San Lorenzo Agrarian Agency, key aspects of the project were addressed, such as the implementation of a soil analysis and foliar analysis laboratory, as well as the planning of training and technical assistance for producers.
