[Livestock and Fisheries News=Reporter Ahn Hee-kyung] The regulations of the Beef Industry Development Association for discussions on beef supply and exports, support for small-scale beef farms, and utilization of beef by-products to create an export base, will be included in the enforcement decree of the Beef Law, which will be implemented on July 23. The Beef Law, which passed the National Assembly's main session on July 3 last year and was promulgated on the 22nd of the same month, is approaching its implementation in six months. The Beef Law, which is expected to be a new turning point for the beef industry, addresses the long-standing wish of beef farmers for "conversion and support of the beef industry in accordance with carbon neutrality." The beef industry and experts are in agreement that a concerted effort is needed to properly prepare the enforcement decree of the Beef Law.
