Platinum Fruits durian from Thailand is preparing to enter the North China and Northeast markets.

Platinum Fruits Company is one of Thailand's largest exporters of fresh durian, with its fruit exports including durian, longan, lychee, and coconut. The company's main market is China, covering parts of Europe, Asia-Pacific, and South Asia. PTF stated at the 2025 Asia Fruit Logistica (AFL) that it is in talks with partners to develop new markets in several provinces in northern and northeastern China. The Chinese market is expected to have huge growth potential for Thai durians, bringing opportunities for Thai durians. However, the company must always prioritize "quality and safety" to enter these markets.
