Poland has recorded one of the largest outbreaks of bird flu in the last two years. In the Greater Poland Voivodeship, almost 1.5 million laying hens were destroyed due to the disease, the country’s Main Veterinary Inspectorate reported. This is the 19th case of bird flu in Poland since the beginning of the year and the ninth in the Greater Poland region.
