Poland is in discussions with Indonesia to increase bilateral trade, with a focus on agricultural products, including apples. In 2021, trade between the two countries reached $107 million from Poland to Indonesia and over $1 billion from Indonesia to Poland. The Polish embassy in Jakarta is negotiating with the Indonesian agriculture ministry to export more agri-food products to Indonesia. Piotr Firlus, Deputy Head of Mission of the Polish Embassy in Jakarta, has expressed optimism about the potential of Polish apple exports to Indonesia.
