Poland is the fourth largest exporter of chocolate in the world, with sales abroad valued at nearly 2.1 billion US dollars, which is 7.3% of global exports. The global chocolate confectionery market is projected to grow to 133 billion dollars in 2025, up from 106 billion dollars in the previous year. Domestically, the value of the Polish chocolate products market was 1.91 billion dollars in June 2021. Over the past decade, chocolate consumption per Polish citizen has risen by around 30%, from 4 kg in 2007 to 5.2 kg in 2021. Poland is the largest chocolate market in Central and Eastern Europe, accounting for about 50% of the market share.
