Pomegranate harvest has begun in Gaziantep

In Gaziantep, one of the leading cities in Turkey for pomegranate production, the harvest of the geographically marked Oğuzeli pomegranate has begun. In the Oğuzeli district, an important fruit and vegetable center in the Southeastern Anatolia Region, the pomegranate harvest has started, with a high yield expected this year. The Oğuzeli pomegranate, which has been registered with the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office and received a geographical indication, is mostly consumed as pomegranate molasses.
