Russian pork and chicken producers are lowering their prices due to a decrease in consumer demand. The most significant price drops were seen in pork products, particularly the neck and ham, while chicken prices fell at a slower rate. Despite this, the prices for poultry and pork are still higher than the same period last year. Sergei Yushin, head of the National Meat Association, noted that such price dynamics are typical for January, following a decrease in meat consumption after the New Year holidays.
