Wholesale pork prices have increased in most cuts, driven by rising production costs and broader economic instability, market research firm NTech analysts told the economic newspaper Kommersant. Putting numbers to the recorded increase, the average pork carcass price reached 2.37 euros/kg at the beginning of July, which represents a 30% increase compared to a year ago.
