Paraná registered, in the third quarter of 2025, the highest absolute growth in pork production in the country, compared to the same period of 2024. The information is contained in the Agricultural Economic Bulletin released this Thursday (18) by the Department of Rural Economy (Deral), from the State Secretariat for Agriculture and Supply (Seab), based on data from the IBGE's Quarterly Survey of Animal Slaughter. Between July and September 2025, the production in Paraná reached 321,940 thousand tons, a record volume for the period and an increase of 21,720 tons, equivalent to 7.2% compared to the third quarter of the previous year. According to Deral, Minas Gerais presented the second highest absolute growth, with an increase of 20,130 tons, followed by Rio Grande do Sul, with 17,530 tons more, and Mato Grosso do Sul, with a rise of 15,470 tons.
