Brazil's pork exports to China have seen significant growth, rising from 18% of total exports in the beginning of the year to a high of 55% in 2020. However, this trend declined in the second half of 2021 and remained around 41% throughout 2022 with fluctuations between 31% and 53%. The first two months of 2023 averaged 44%, making China a crucial market for Brazil, the fourth largest pork exporter in the world.
