Exports are expected to rise by 5% in 2022 to 4.850 million tons, and by 8.5% in 2023 to 5.200 million tons. Domestic supply is projected to grow by 0.5% in 2023 to 9.75 million tons, and per capita consumption is expected to increase by 0.8% in both years to 45.5 kg. In pork production, a 6.5% increase is anticipated for 2022, with a projected growth of 4% in 2023, reaching 5.150 million tons. Domestic pork supply is expected to increase by 3% in 2023 to 3.95 million tons, and per capita consumption is projected to grow by 3% to 18.5 kg.
