The Jeollanam-do Agricultural Research Institute (Director Kim Haeng-ran) announced on the 3rd that premium powdered green tea produced in Jeollanam-do has successfully exported to Australia for the second consecutive year. This is evaluated as an achievement that simultaneously demonstrates the export potential and quality competitiveness of the domestic green tea industry. The exported product was produced using organic tea from Jeollanam-do through strict quality management processes at the institute's organic processing certification facility, with a total volume of 2.7 tons. The export products are scheduled to be supplied to tea shops and cafes in major cities through local Australian distributors, according to the '2023 Australian Tea Market Report'.
