The application process for the "Rural Abundance Small Ruminant Support Project" initiated by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry is ongoing. In a statement made on behalf of the Kars Veterinarians Chamber Board of Directors, President Ercan Ödül reminded that the applications, which began on April 1, will end on April 30, 2026, and made an appeal to producers and colleagues. Emphasis on Young Population and Professional Experience Drawing attention to the fact that the average age of the rural population in Turkey has risen to 58, Ödül stated that it is imperative for the future of agricultural production for young people and technically knowledgeable professional groups to be on the field. He noted that in the ministry's projects, priority is given to female producers and men under 40 years of age, as well as veterinarians being in the top priority category.
