The Khoái Châu golf course project (Hưng Yên) has a planned area of approximately 888.5 hectares, including 673.08 hectares in Châu Ninh commune; 208.11 hectares in Khoái Châu commune; and 7.31 hectares in Chí Minh commune. With the largest area to be cleared in phase 1, Châu Ninh commune must complete about 522.61 hectares, including approximately 431.63 hectares of agricultural land, about 0.8 hectares of rural housing land; and about 90.18 hectares of other land. It is expected that the phase 1 land clearance will be completed before April 30. Mr. Đỗ Văn Dũng, Deputy Chairman of the People's Committee of Châu Ninh commune, said that after nearly 1 year of implementation, the entire commune has cleared about over 50% of the area.
