According to reports from Panama's "News Report" and TVN-2, the auction, which lasted approximately 12 hours, attracted specialty coffee buyers from around the world who competed in bidding, resulting in 50 lots totaling 1,000 kilograms of coffee sold, with a total transaction amount of 2.861 million U.S. dollars. The average transaction price per kilogram was 2,861.2 U.S. dollars, a significant increase from last year's 1,383.72 U.S. dollars, marking a new historical high. The 20 kilograms of washed Geisha coffee from Emerald Estate, part of the Peterson family, was successfully bid by the Dubai company Julith Coffee, with a final transaction price of 604,000 U.S. dollars.
