Ukrainian tomato producers are facing price reductions and a decline in demand, leading to an accumulation of lower quality products in their warehouses. Greenhouse tomatoes are currently being sold at prices that are 18% cheaper than the previous week, and there is a possibility of further price reductions if sales rates remain low. The Ministry of Agrarian Policy expects a larger harvest of vegetables this year, but a shortage of vegetables and increased prices for dairy and meat products are predicted in the near future.
