The Podlasie Agricultural Chamber has appealed to the National Council of Agricultural Chambers for an intervention due to a pressing issue faced by snail farmers. The COVID-19 pandemic has led to a suspension of snail exports, leaving farmers with a significant problem as winter approaches and they are unable to sell their snails. Without a resolution, these farmers will face the challenge of disposing of their 15 tonnes of live snails, incurring additional costs.
