The Altai Territory in Russia has seen a significant increase in its oilseed harvest, with a 30% rise in the collection of main types of oilseeds. The forecasted harvest is projected to reach 1.5 million tons. The region has focused on the cultivation of rapeseed and oil flax, with expected harvests of 280,000 tons and 250,000 tons respectively, marking a double increase in flax harvest. This solid harvest is set to support the processing of agricultural raw materials in the region, with local enterprises set to benefit from full capacity utilization. Altai Krai, with the largest sowing area in Russia, has sown 5.3 million hectares this year.
