Productivity and quality increase with the rehabilitation project of hazelnut orchards in Turkey

New modern gardens are being established in order to increase the yield and quality of hazelnuts, Turkey's important agricultural product. Within the scope of the "Hazelnut Gardens Rehabilitation Project" carried out with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry in Ordu, hazelnut gardens planted with traditional methods, old and inefficient, especially on sloping lands, were removed and terraces were created. Thanks to the project, in which productivity and quality increase was achieved through rejuvenation and renewal work, exemplary modern gardens were established in hazelnut agriculture.
